Concrete road opens to mark 77th Anniversary of Union Day in Padaung Township

A concrete road was opened to mark 77th Anniversary of the Union Day in Magyihtone Village in Padaung Township of Bago Region yesterday morning.

First of all, staff officer of Pyay District Department of Rural Development U Han Myint Tun, Chairman of the Township Administration Body U Aung Thura and Administrator of Magyihtone village tract U Kyi Shwe cut a ceremonial ribbon to open the road.

The concrete road measuring 2100 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and six inches in volume was reportedly built with K 25.8 million including K 15.00 million allocated by the regional government and K 10.8 million contributed by local people.—La Pyae Linn(IPRD)
