Concrete road put into service in Hinthada

An inauguration ceremony of a concrete road connecting two wards took place in Hinthada Township, Ayeyawady Region this morning to hail the 72nd anniversary of Independence Day.

Firstly, Amyotha Hluttaw Representative U Htein Win gave an opening speech and Chairman of the township development committee U Hla Myint explained matters relating to the concrete road. Then the chairman of road construction committee expressed words of gratitude and presented commemorative gifts to the Upper House MP and Deputy Commissioner U Myo Aung. Next, the lawmakers and departmental officials formally opened the new road and strolled along it.

 

The facility is 4655 ft. long, 24 ft. wide and 8 inch thick and was built with Ks. 140 million contributed by the township development committee and Ks. 57 million donated by local people.—Kyaw Kyaw (IPRD)
