Concrete road put into service in Labutta Twsp.

A concrete road was inaugurated to mark 76th anniversary of Independence Day to public in Ywarthit Village in Labutta Township of Ayeyarwady Region this morning.

During the ceremony, chairman of the District Administration Council U Zaw Myo Nyunt delivered an opening speech and discussed matters relating to construction of the road.

Afterwards, U Zaw Myo Nyunt, member-1 of the Township Administration Council Major Win Min OO and staff officer of the District Department of Rural Development U Aung Naing Moe cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the road.

The concrete road measuring 1110 ft. long, six ft. wide and 6 inches thick was constructed by Department of Rural Development at a cost of more than Ks. 18.00 million including Ks. 15 million allocated by regional government and Ks. 3 million contributed by well-wishers. – District IPRD
