Concrete road put into service in Mongyawng Township

A rural concrete road was inaugurated to mark 78th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day to public in Yebaw Haung Village in Mongyawng Township of Shan State(East) at about 9:00 am on 22  March.

 

During the ceremony, chairman of the District Administration Council U Tun Tun Naing, member-1 of the District Administration Council lieutenant Colonel Aung Nay Tun and staff officer of the Township DRD U Sai Soe Soe cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the road. Afterwards, officials looked round the concrete road.

 

 

The road which is 580 ft. long, 12ft. wide and six inches thick was constructed by the Township DRD with Ks.14.15 million including Ks. 10 million of DRD’s fund in 2022-2023 FY and Ks. 4.15 million contributed by local people, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Sai Aung Zaw Lin
