Mong Nai, 15 January
Mong Nai Township Immigration and Population Department began conducting 2019 interim-census in the town of of Mong Nai and Keng Taung this morning.
A group of five staff will conduct census in seven designated spots in Mong Nai township and two spots in the town of Keng Taung.
The campaign aims to approximately estimate social and economic data of Myanmar between the year 2014 and 2024, to carry out research into the changes in census data, comparing 2014 census with 2019 interim-census, to compile indices needed in implementing Myanmar Sustainable Development Plan (MSDP), according to Sai Mya Soe Hlaing, head to the township Immigration and Population Department.—Myo Nyunt Shwe (Mong Nai)
