Construction work of multi-purpose hall in Monghsat Township completed 75%

Officials inspected the construction work of a multi-purpose hall in Nayan-2 Village in Monghsat Township of Shan State (East) this morning.

During the inspection tour, officials from the Township Department of Rural Development and the District Department of Rural Development met members of village development committee and the responsible people, and urged to meet the set standard within the target date.

The hall which is 36 ft. in length, 20 ft. in width and 12 ft. in height has been constructed since the third week of September this year by a tender winning Company with K 16.0 million including K 15.0 million of DRD’s funds and K 1.0 million contributed by the public. Now, all the projects have been completed by 75 percent.

Upon completion, it will benefit a total of 356 people from 65 households in the village, according to an official from the District Department of Rural Development.—Maung Khaing (DRD)
