Under the program of Magway Regional Department of Agriculture, a ceremony to provide seeds to farmers who will sow the seeds in the experimental plots and model plots was held at Township General Administration Department this morning.
On the occasion, MP U Aung San Win of regional Hluttaw gave opening remarks and Deputy Township Administrator U Kyaw Kyaw Tun urged the attendees to utilize the provided seeds effectively.
Next, officials from the Agricultural Department clarified the purpose of providing seeds and one of the farmers also spoke words of thanks to the officials.
Different kinds of crop and paddy seeds were provided to a total of 199 farmers free of charge.
