Deputy speaker of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw and Deputy Speaker of Pyithu Hluttaw U Tun Tun Hein received Thai Lower House First Deputy Speaker, Mr Suchart Tonjaroen at the Thabin Hall of Hluttaw Building in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
During the meeting, they discussed promoting collaboration between governments and Hluttaws of Myanmar and Thailand and friendship between their people.
They also talked over current natural disasters in Myanmar and assistance given to Myanmar workers.
Present at the event were Chairman of Pyithu Hluttaw’s International Relations Committee, U Zaw Thein, Chairman of Amyotha Hluttaw’s International Relations Committee Dr Than Win, Secretary of Pyithu Hluttaw’s International Relations Committee U Bo Bo Oo, and officials from the Pyithu Hluttaw Office.
Then, U Tun Tun Hein, Mr Suchart Tonjaroen and party had their group photo taken.
The delegation led by Mr Suchart Tonjaroen studied the 12th-day meeting of the Second Pyithu Hluttaw’s 13th regular session.
