With the aims of upgrading living standard of rural people and narrowing the gaps between rural and urban areas, the Department of Rural Development is implementing developmental works across the nation. Now, Magway Township Department of Rural Development will conduct developmental works in Magway District during 2021-2022 FY.
In the district, 32 water supply projects including digging tube wells, construction of water tanks, installation of power meters and other works will be undertaken. In addition, construction of six rural roads and three pipe culverts will be built by tender winning companies.
Upon completion, local people will receive purified drinking water in all seasons and local products will be distributed to the markets with saving time and money, according to the District Department of Rural Development.
