With the aim of distributing purified drinking water to local people in Oohmin village, Tada-U Township, Kyaukse District, Mandalay Region, digging a tube well and construction of a water plant and a water reservoir were undertaken in the village.
The Township Department of Rural Development is implementing water supply projects, construction of roads and bridges in the villages in the township year after year. In this fiscal year, a tube well, a water plant capable of storing 2400 gallons of water, a water reservoir capable of storing 5000 gallons of water and installation of water pipeline are being undertaken with K 37.9335 million.
Upon completion, a total of 205 households in the village will be available purified drinking water in all seasons. In 2019-2020 FY, water supply projects are being undertaken in six villages in the township, said Assistant Director U Khin Maung Htay of Tada-U Township Department of Rural Development.
