The Department of Health under the Ministry of Health and Sports conducted a monthly mass immunization campaign in Thongwa Township, Yangon Region this morning.
The department will inject children aged less than 1 year and 6 month old and pregnant women will with vaccination against various diseases such as polio, measles and rubella free of charge on the first and second day of every month. The employees from the department also disseminate knowledge about heath and don’t and do’s at rural healthcare centers on a monthly basis .
