ON 5 November, Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo and officials visited airports and ports in Kawthoung, Taninthayi Region.
He inspected Dawei, Myeik, Bokpyin, and Kawthoung airports. The director-general of the Department of Civil Aviation discussed ongoing airport operations, development projects, and potential expansions for cargo flights. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of safety, cleanliness, and high-class service at airports, urging strict measures for security and collaboration with relevant departments.
