DRD opens diesel engine repair course in Yinmabin

The Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation opened a diesel engine repair course at its meeting room in Yinmabin Township, Sagaing Region on Tuesday.

At the ceremony, Regional Lawmaker Daw Aung May Yi delivered an address and Deputy Staff Officer of the DRD U Kyawt Maung Maung explained the aim of the course. Next, an official from the DRD clarified matters relating to the course. The 15-day vocational training course is being attended by 15 trainees throughout the township.

The purpose of the course is to create job opportunities for rural people who can operate their businesses on a manageable scale.—Than Htay Aung
