With the aim of creating job opportunities for rural people and boosting their socio-economic status, the Township Department of Rural Development organized a vocational motorcycle repair course at Ywarle Dhamayone in Sanpya Village in Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region yesterday.

At the event, chairman of the Township Administration Council U Aung Myat Khaing delivered an opening speech and discussed matters relating to the training course. Afterwards, an official from Minbu District DRD clarified the purposes of the training course and called on the trainees to practically apply the lessons learned in the training course to generate more income in their families.

The five-day training course which runs from July 5 to 9 is being attended by 10 trainees from villages in the township.— U Hlaing Win Lay
