Drinking Water donated to rural people in Mudon Tsp.

Mudon, 13 May

Some villages in Mudon Township in Mon State suffered from scarcity of drinking water due to extreme hot weather as the dry season set in.

As part of efforts to help the difficulties of rural people, personnel from the township Fire Services Department paid a domiciliary visit to provide drinking water to the affected people in Nyaungon Village and Paingkamar Village about 7:00 pm yesterday and provided 1600 gallons of drinking water to 1600 households from the two villages in the township.—Aung Myo Thu, IPRD
