Some villages in Pindaya Township, Taunggyi District of Shan State suffered from scarcity of drinking water due to extreme hot weather as the dry season set in.
As part of efforts to help the difficulties of rural people, personnel from the Township Disaster Management Department led by Chairman of the Township Administration Body U Kyaw Moe Lwin gave a domiciliary visit to provide drinking water to the affected people from seven villages in the Township.
Under this drinking water supply program, affected villages received 1300 gallons of drinking water each.—Aung Ko Oo(IPRD)
