Drinking water treatment plant launched in Taungoo Tsp

Bago region Chief Minister U Win Thein attended a ceremony to open a  drinking water treatment plant in a monastery in Kyae-Inn village, Kayin Chaung village tract, Taungoo township this morning.
 

The plant was jointly built by Taungoo Township Rural Development Department and Grand Royal Group International Co Ltd with the aim of providing purified drinking water to local people. At the ceremony, Bago region Chief Minister said clean drinking water is essential for every people, expressing words of gratitude to the company. 


Then, Co-chairman U Sein Moe Kyaw of Grand Royal Group handed over documents related to the plant and facilities to Director U Myo Thein of Bago Region Rural Development Department before a local people spoke words of gratitude.  Afterwards, the region chief minister, MP U Moe Kha of Bago region Hluttaw, Taungoo District Administrator U Moe Htet, Director U Myo Thein and Co-chairman U Sein Moe Kyaw cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the plant, spraying scented water on it.


The plant was built at a total cost of 13.5396 million, of which K 7. 65 million for machines and K 2.87 million for structures were donated by Grand Royal Group International Co Ltd.
