A combined team consisting of members of Anti-Drug Squad searched a motorbike driven by Sein Mat with Ar Jay onboard at 5:50 pm on February 20 near Lwedawkham Village in Tachilek Township of Shan State and seized 6000 stimulant tablets.
In a similar incident, a combined team comprising members of Anti-Drug Squad stopped and searched a motorcycle driven by Zaw Moe at 1:15 pm on the same day near Myoma Market in South Ward in Hopong Township of Shan State and confiscated 2000 stimulant pills.
The culprits have been prosecuted under the country’s Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—MNA
