Drugs confiscated in Tachilek Township

Policemen from Tachilek Anti-Drug Squad-30 searched Aung Aung (a) Ko Aung on Sipin Road in Wammaing Village, Tachilek Township in Shan State yesterday and confiscated 2600 stimulant tablets and a mobile phone from him according to Information released by  Myanmar Police Force.

 


In a similar incident, policemen from Lashio Anti-Drug Squad on the same day stopped a motorbike driven by San Yone on Lashio-Tantyan Road near Khashiauk Village in Lashio Township and seized opium blocks weighing 1.3 kilos and a mobile phone from him.

 


The authorities filed charges against the two under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—MPF
