A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Narcotic Drug Squad searched a Mark II vehicle driven by Kyaw Thiha with Nay Myo Kyaw and Wai Phyo Oo on board between 107-108 streets in Myothit-3 Ward in Chanmyathasi Township of Mandalay Region on December 26 at about 1:30 pm and seized 50000 stimulant tablets in the car.
After making some interrogations, a combined team raided the home of Aik San in Maok Village in Monghsat Township of Shan State at about 4:30 pm on the same day and confiscated 20220 stimulant tablets and heroin weighing 0.0015 kilo in the house.
The offenders have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—MNA
