Local authorities confiscated drugs in Kawthoung, Taninthayi Region yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, police members from Anti-Drug Squad-34 together with witnesses intercepted a motorbike driven by Ma Cho Tun, 37, from Pulungtun Village in Kawthoung Township and confiscated 190 stimulant tablets from her.
Authorities filed charges against Ma Cho Tun under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—Kyaw Soe
