Acting on a tip-off, police members led by Police Capt. Than Aung raided the house of Ma Nan Huam in Wamkan Village, Mese Township yesterday and seized a total of 745 stimulant tablets worth K 1.05 million in the house.
Similarly on the same day, policemen led by Police Inspector from Bawlakhe Anti-Drug Squad searched the house of U Aung Win and Daw Mi Mi and confiscated 145 stimulant tablets.
Authorities filed charges against them under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—Wat Yee (Mese)
