Local authorities confiscated drugs from two motor cyclists on Kawlin-Pinlebu Road, Pinlebu Township, Katha District, Sagaing Region yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, police members led by Police sub-inspector Thet Paing Oo from Pinlebu Myoma Police Station intercepted a motorbike driven by Myint Thu with Maung Htay on board heading to Kawlin on Kawlin-Pinlebu Road and seized drugs weighing 14 grams worth K 1.00 million from them.
The authorities filed charge against the two under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—Myo Lwin (Pinlebu)
