A combined team comprising members of the Anti-Drug Police Force raided the house of Thant Zin on Hninsi Street in Paukgon Ward in Mingaladon Township of Yangon Region at 5:00 pm on June 13 and seized 4000 stimulant tablets in the house.
In a similar incident, the police force stopped and searched a TOYOTA HILUX SURF vehicle driven by Aung Thein Win with Aung Pyae and Tin Win Aung on board on Pawsanhmwe Street in Ward-29 in Thingangyun Township of Yangon Region at 3:00 pm on June 11 and captured 200000 stimulant tablets.
According to an investigation, police force raided the apartment rented by Aung Thein Win in Myohaung(west) Ward in Than Lyin Township of Yangon Region at 7:00 pm on the same day and confiscated 50000 stimulant tablets in the apartment.
The offenders have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA
