A combined team consisting of members of the Anti-Drug Police Force searched a suspicious man, identified as Aung Zaw Htway, near Lwesitung Village in Tachilek Township of Shan State at 5:30 pm on 6 June and seized 5,400 stimulant tablets from him.
Similarly, the police force stopped and searched a HONDA FIT vehicle driven by Yaw Pha Saw near Mehan Village in Lashio Township of Shan State at 1:30 pm on the same day and captured 0.28 kilo of Happy Water in the car.
The offenders have been prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. — MNA
