Authorities seized stimulant tablets from a woman in Hpa-an Township, Kayin State yesterday.
Acting on a tip-off, police members led by Police Inspector Kyin Naing of Zathapyin Police Outpost together with witnesses yesterday searched the house of Ma Aye Sanda Nwe (a) Kun Aye in Ward-12, Phekata Village, Hpa-an Township and seized 160 stimulant tablets weighing 16 grams worth K 480000, a mobile phone and K 150000 from her posession.
The authorities filed charge against Ma Aye Sanda Nwe (a) Kun Aye, 34, under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law—Min Thu (Hpa-an).
