Earthen road being upgraded to tarred facility in TadaU Twsp.

A rural earthen road linking Thungeltaw Village with Myotha Village in TadaU Township, Mandalay Region is being upgraded to a tarred facility.

Local people rely on the road for commodity flow, health, social and economic activities, said U Shwe Aung, Village Administrator. The rural road is 1.1 kilometer long, and the tender winning company is closing supervising workers to meet the standard amid the coronavirus pandemic for timely completion.

The road will be upgraded to tarred one at a cost of Ks. 89.779 million allocated in the fiscal year 2019-2020 and is scheduled to finalize this year, he added.—Ye Tint (IPRD)
