Eight returnees allowed to go back home after 21-day quarantine in Saw Tsp.

Eight people who returned from abroad were allowed to go back home after being placed under 21-day observation at a facility quarantine center in Saw Township, Gangaw District, Magway Region this morning.


Moekok Yeiktha in the town of Saw has been diverted into a facility quarantine center for the returnees under 21-day observation program. The returnees including four women and four men will also be put under seven-day quarantine when they arrive in their native towns and villages. 


Then, officials from Department of Health and General Administration Department urged the returnees to stay in their native towns and villages in accordance with rules released by Ministry of Health and Sports and presented health certificate and gave words of encouragement to them before departure for their homes.


Of 41 returnees being put under observation, eight people were admitted to go back home after 21-day quarantine. Currently, 33 people coming back from abroad are put under 21-day observation at the quarantine centers in Saw.
