Einme farmers get crop compensation

A ceremony to present crop compensation to the farmers was held at Shwe Pyitan Hall of the General Administration Department in Einme Township, Ayeyawady Region on 15 June.
    

 

On the occasion, Amyotha Hluttaw Representative for Einme Constituency Dr. Pyae Phyo and the regional lawmakers gave speeches. Afterwards, the MPs presented crop compensation for the farmlands affected by the floods from twelve villages through village officials. Then an official from the Department of Agriculture explained the purpose of the crop compensation and a village administrator expressed words of thanks.
    

 

Out of 140320 acres of farmlands in Einme Township, 10313 acres of farmlands have been destroyed by the floods. A total of more than Ks. 131 million was presented during the event.—Chit Thet Lel (Einme)
