Health staff gave the booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine to the people of aged 65 and above at the designated vaccination sites in Meiktila Township of Mandalay Region this morning.
Chairman of the District Administration Body U Zaw Zaw Oo and members and Chairman of the Township Administration Body U Zaw Aung Lay and members viewed round the vaccination and gave words of encouragement to the people.
Booster jabs of COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer) were given for people over 65-year-old in 11 wards in the town of Meiktila. During the vaccination, ward administrators and members of the Township Red-Cross Society provided necessary assistance to healthcare workers.—Chan Thar(Meiktila)
