Officials from the township Department of Social Welfare provided social pension to senior citizens above 85 years old from villages and wards in Ye Township, Mon State on 9 September on a door to door basis.
Under this cash aid program, 1021 senior citizens above 85 years old from villages and wards in the township received K 30000 each for the month of July, August and September, according to the township General Administration Department.
Staff from the township Department of Social Welfare provided cash aid to elderly people in accordance with the rules released by Ministry of Health and Sports amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic. —Township IPRD
