A multiplier course on compiling voters’ list of ward and village sub-election committees was held at the meeting room of the General Administration Department in Thongwa Township, Yangon Region on 21 August.
On the occasion, Member of Yangon Southern District Election Commission U Tin Oo made an opening speech and Chairman of the township sub-election commission U Chit Ko (Photography) clarified authority and responsibility of the Union Election Commission. Next, those present discussed matters relating to taking census and collecting voters’ list. Afterwards, Secretary of the township sub-election commission Daw Htwe Ei Ngel Aung elaborated on knowledge about compiling voters’ list.
The training course was attended by chairmen and secretaries of the ward and village sub-election committee.—Ko Kyaw (Thongwa)
