The opening of a training course on compiling voters’ list took place at a basic education high school in Hlegu Township, Yangon Region on 25 August.
The course was conducted by the township sub-election commission. First, member of the district election commission U Hla Aung made an opening address and Township Administrator U Htay Aung explained matters relating to the training course. The chairman of the township election commission U Soe Lwin clarified the purpose of the training course.
Also present on the occasion were departmental officials, ward and village administrators and trainees totaling 240 people.—Naing Lin (Hlegu)
