An essay contest and a talk to mark 72nd Martyrs’ day were held at the library of the township Information and Public Relations Department in Mongye township, Shan state this afternoon.
First, Daw Khin Mar Lar, head of the township IPRD gave a talk about Martyrs’ day. Then, a total of 24 students at middle and high schools in the town competed in an essay competition held to mark the 72nd Martyrs’ day.
Afterwards, the students viewed round wallpapers and personal documents of the fallen martyrs, it is learnt.—Mongye IPRD
