Dedaye, 23 August
In commemoration of International Democracy Day which falls on September 15, essay, poem and painting competitions for high school and middle school level students were held at the B.E.H.S-1 in the town of Dedaye, Ayeyawday Region yesterday.
Altogether 19 high school and Middle school level students competed in the competitions.
Six outstanding students including two students in essay competition, two in poem competition and two in painting competition will compete in township level essay, poem and painting competitions at B.E.H.S-3 in the Town of Pathein, Aeyawady Region on 28 August.—Myint Myint Khine, IPRD
