Essential foodstuff sold at fair prices in Aunglan Township

Under the supervision of Magway Region Government, staff from the Township General Administration Department led by officials from the District Administration Council and the Township Administration Council sold essential foodstuffs at lower prices than the local market prices for the convenience of local people in the front of the Township Development Committee in Aunglan Township of Magway Region at 7:00 am on December 21, to be able to buy the food they want at a fair price.

 

On the occasion, members of the District Administration Council, Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Kyaw Naing and members, executive officer of the Township Development Committee and personnel and the Township Edible Oil Dealers' Association jointly sold essential foodstuff such as rice, edible oil, eggs, chicken, goat's meat and pork at lower prices than the local market prices.

 

In order to stabilize commodity prices, essential foodstuffs are being sold at lower prices in the town of Aunglan every Thursday.—Myo Thein(IPRD)
