Essential foodstuffs sold at lower prices in Aunglan Township

Under the supervision of the Magway Region Government, staff from the Township General Administration Department led by officials from the Township and District Administration bodies sold essential foodstuffs at fair prices than the local market prices for the convenience of local people in the front of the office of the Township Development Committee in Aunglan Township of Magway Region at 7:00 am on December 28, to be able to buy the food they want at a fair price.

On the occasion, members of the District Administration Council, Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Kyaw Naing and members, staff led by executive officer of the Township Development Committee and the Township Edible Oil Dealers' Association jointly sold foodstuffs such as rice, edible oil, eggs, chicken, pork and goat's meat at lower prices than the local market prices.

In order to stabilize commodity prices, essential foodstuffs are being sold at lower prices in the town of Aunglan every Thursday. Foodstuffs worth K 3662000 were sold today.—Myo Thein(IPRD)
