An event to present cash assistance to a victim killed by lightening was held at the meeting room of the General Administration Department in Thayawady Township, Bago Region this morning.
The victim was identified as Maung Myo Thiha Kyaw, a 13-year old boy from Nyaunggon Village, Thayawady Township. Staff from the Department of Disaster Management together with a village administrator provided K 300,000 to family members of the disaster victim on a door-to-door basis.
