To support farmers in Kamma Township, Thayet District, Magway Region, the Myanmar Agricultural Development Bank is disbursing monsoon crop loans to its members across 42 village tracts in the township.

Today, the bank's Kamma branch distributed a total of K47.7 million to 52 farmers from Ward-4 for the cultivation of 159 acres of monsoon paddy fields.

The bank plans to disburse a total of K5 billion in Kamma Township to support monsoon paddy cultivation. According to the branch, farmers are receiving K300,000 per acre for monsoon paddy cultivation and K250,000 per acre for other crops, including peanuts and sesame.— Kyaw Zeya Win (Kamma)
