The roof of a bar in southern China collapsed early Monday, killing four people and injuring 87.
The incident occurred early Monday morning in the city of Baise in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The bar is on the top floor of a three-story steel-frame building. About 160 officers from local police and fire departments attended the scene.
Communist Party officials in the region reportedly urged local authorities to find the cause of the collapse and prevent similar accidents.
In Shanghai, seven people were killed last week after a building undergoing renovation collapsed.
