Officials from Kachin State Department of Food and Drug Administration made an inspection on sale of prohibited drug and food in a market in Mohnyin yesterday morning.
Officials from the FDA inspected the food and drug using mobile laboratory. Other food and drug that cannot be tested on the mobile laboratory will be sent to the State FDA. If it is found that there is on sale of prohibited food and drug, the department will warn the shop owners. When the owner fails to follow the rules and regulations, they will be taken action by the department.
