The final match of the township administrator cup monsoon football tournament was held in conjunction with an awards ceremony at the football pitch of local battalion in the town of Laukkai in Kokant self-administered area, Shan state (north) yesterday afternoon.
At the final match, Road department football team beat Land Management and Statistics football team 1-0, winning the cup.
At an awards ceremony, Township administrator U Ngwe Doe and departmental heads gave cash prizes of K 500,000 to the wining team, K 300,000 to the first runner-up team and K 200,000 to the second runner-up team and best player awards.—Laukkai IPRD
