Final match of Zalun Township Education Committee chairman’s cup inter-school women’s football tournament took place in conjunction with prize awarding event at the people’s football ground in the town of Zalun, Ayeyarwady yesterday evening.
In the final game, the football team representing Yelay station beat the squad representing Myoma station and was crowned the champion trophy.
Next, the awarding ceremony was held and chairman of the Township Administration Council U Tun Tun Linn and officials presented prizes and cash awards to best player and goalkeeper, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winning teams respectively.—Wai Yan(Township IPRD)
