With the aims of increasing fish resources and promoting fish production, the Department of Fisheries are releasing fingerlings into creeks, rivers and dams across the nation.
Now, Ye-U Township Department of Fisheries conducted a ceremony to release fingerlings into Karboe Dam in Ye-U Township, Shwebo District, Sagaing Region this morning.
On the occasion, officials from Shwebo District and Ye-U Township Departments of Fisheries released 300,000 fish species of different kinds.
