Fingerlings released into paddy fields in Dedaye Tsp.

With the aims of ensuring fish species security and preventing fish species depletion, fingerlings were released into 250 acres of paddy fields in Singu village-tract in Dedaye Township, Pyapon District, Ayeyawady Region this morning.

 

On the occasion, Deputy Director-General U Tin Maung Maung of District Department of Fisheries, Township Administrator U Htet Myat Aung, departmental personnel and local people were in attendance and released a total of 125,000 fishes into the paddy fields, according to an official from the Township Department of Fisheries.
