A fire broke out in an old school building in Basic Education High School in Khin-U at 5:51 am today due to the overheated electric kettle, according to the Township Fire Services Department.
Officials from the Township Police Force and Department of Fire Services extinguished the fire using two fire engines. The fire was put out at 6:25 am.
An investigation is being made to take action by the local police station.
