Fire breaks out in Minbu Tsp.

Fire broke out in the house of Ko Moe in ward-3 in the town of Minbu, Magway Region at around 12:15 am yesterday and destroyed a shop and a house.

The fire was thought to have started from an electric short circuit installed in a shop of Ko Moe and Makhine on Sipinthaya Market Road in ward-3 in the town of Minbu.

Firefighters form the region Fire Services Department and the township Fire Services Department rushed to the scene to put out the fire in collaboration with local police members and about 200 villagers using 15 fire engines and the blaze was brought under control about 4:30 am and successfully extinguished at around 5:30 am. 

Fire destroyed the house of Ko Moe and a shop worth K 14.0 million. But no casualties were reported. Authorities filed a case against Ko Moe for his negligence.—Ye Win Naing(Nyaung-U)
