A fire broke out at around 8:00 pm yesterday in Kyokgone Village, Minhla Township, Bago Region and totally destroyed a house, according to the local fire brigade.
Fire was thought to have started from a lighted candle left in the altar in the house of U Pi Kin (a) Win Naing ,60, in Kyokgon village, Minhla Township. But No casualties have been reported.
Firefighters from Sitgwin Fire Services Department rushed to the incident scene to put out the fire in collaboration with villagers and the fire was totally extinguished at about 8:45 pm.
The authorities pressed charged against U Pi Kin(a) Win Naing for his negligence.—Pauk Sa (Minhla)
