Mong Nai, 10 July
A fire broke out at about 1:35 am today and destroyed the house of U Aung Zaw Win near Mong Nai-Maukme Road in Loi Myae Ward in Mong Nai, Linkhe District, Shan State (south).
The fire was believed to have started from overheated wires installed in a shelf in the house for shrine.
Firefighters rushed to the scene to put out the fire in collaboration with local Policemen and villagers using two fire engines. The fire totally destroyed the house.—Myo Nyunt Shwe (Mong Nai)
