Fire broke out in a textile store on Pyidaungsu Road at Myothit ward in Monywa, Sagaing Region yesterday evening.
The fire started from an overheated converter at 9:40 pm yesterday. Sagaing region Chief Minister Dr. Myint Naing, Regional Minister for security and border affairs, officials from the Township Fire Services Department rushed to the scene and put out the fire. The fire was extinguished at 10:22 pm.
In the incident, a two-storey building, a storage house, luxuries and different kinds of textile were engulfed by the fire.
Action is being taken against Kyaw Myat Min, the textile store owner by the Monywa Myoma Police Station.
